NDC, DBI, CELEBRATES WITH YOU.
NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS, DBI
Release
21st April, 2019
SEASONAL FELICITATIONS
On behalf of the member of parliament for Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency, Hon Sebastian Sandaare and the Constituency Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress, the communication outfit extends to you, seasonal greetings and best wishes to all constituents who are celebrating the resurrection of Christ.
The celebration of Easter across the globe especially by Christians is to remember the painful death of Christ and subsequently, his triumphant victory over death as he resurrected from death. Indeed, we see this history as a moment of struggle and joy. The sorrow and joy from the death and resurrection of Christ, present to us, very great moral lessons that can contribute to the growth, progress and prosperity of our country, Ghana and our constituency.
Fundamentally, the season challenges all of us to renew our commitment, determination and sacrifice. These are the great pillars that can transform our lives spiritually, socially and economically. We should therefore remain committed in working towards the development of Ghana even in the very challenging economic situation we find ourselves in whilst we continue to pray for, and support the National Democratic Congress to return back to power to change this avoidable wobbly economic situation that is being precipitated by the corrupt, incompetent, insensitive, lazy and inept attitude of the NPP government. Do not let the increasing poverty levels, sufferings and any form of discrimination discourage you. There is joy at the end of this struggle. We shall resurrect our hope, confidence, and dreams as long as we are determined.
We urge all constituents not to engage in any acts that affect our harmony and enviable tranquility. Let us continue to uphold our peaceful coexistence in all our dealings.
Again, we wish to admonish all especially the youth to celebrate this feast in moderation and be mindful not to engage in acts that may defeat the essence of this festival. We particularly admonish our chrished youth against excessive intake of alcohol, drugs, sexual promiscuity and any other act that has the propensity to endanger lives. More importantly, road accident continue to escalate in our country. Let us ride with care especially that our constituency is largely characterised by poor road infrastructure.
The Youth Wing of the NDC has organised a number of social activities in some selected communities and we urge everybody, irrespective of your political affiliation, to take part in those activities. As a social democratic party, we believe in harmonising the youth through socialisation. This is a better way of consolidating our sense of togetherness which is paramount in nation building.
Once again, we wish everybody a joyous day.
Best regards!!
