DJ mixes Taking Over Upper West Region Radio Entertainment programs

DJ mixes is a program on the number one and popular radio station in the Upper West  Region W93.5fm. Indeed, wfm is a very entertaining station that has gained popularity of late. The introduction of DJ mixes is yet another fantastic show that is gaining more attention.

 I must give credit to the organizers of that program. Also to the CEO of Wfm and management committee Mr Ras Bob Pelpou who has made this dream come through.

DJ mixes started not long ago. It gives opportunity for different DJs in the region and even beyond to perform in the radio station.
In actual fact, DJ mixes has been scheduled in a way, for every DJ to perform via air for callers to call in and vote for the best performer of the day.

Many DJs who have less opportunities are invited to showcase their skills to the listening public. They are asked to play music from various categories of music and it does develop confidence and versatility in participants.

I was very impressed and honored to be part of this very program as a guest DJ to exhibit my hidden talent for the people of upper West and beyond. I competed with college DJs like, DJ Rasky and DJ Awass. It was such an amazing and remarkable experience.

I believe that such a bigger platform is an opportunity to sell one's talent to the outside world. It is indisputable that one can easily get employment opportunities through that program especially with the proliferation of radio stations, sounds and night clubs in the Upper West Region in recent times.

 Again, DJ mixes also make other DJs to improve upon their skills by way of learning from other experience DJs. There are a lot of famous DJs who are making gains. Talk of DJ Derry Gee, DJ Chicago, DJ Tobile, DJ Anada and many more. Young DJs interacting with them through that show is only an opportunity to learn and get inspiration from these popular DJs.

The program was lunched on the 28th July 2017 at a popular drinking Spot called "The Guy's". It was massive with over 500 plus people to witnessing it. Eventually, a heavy rainfall ruined the program. The management of dj mixes postponed the launching to the following week who was also well attended.

DJ mixes is really taking over all the radio programs in the region, to the extent that other DJs come from Tamale to participate.
Still on this very show, i think there are more DJs in the region who has the passion of being top DJs but yet have not been given the chance to perform. So I entreat on the organizers of DJ mixes and wfm to ensure that, the information about dj mixes should be cast across board, for other DJs to participate.

Also, I call on everybody to kindly support this very program in the region. it has the potential of taking upper west entertainment to a higher pedestal since quality DJs are being churned out indirectly.
