CELEBRATING A COMMANDER OF THE GREEN ARMY IN DBI, DESMOND TAMPUORI

It is often said that, he who laughs last, laughs best. Today being one of the busiest day for me, happens to be a special day to my brother, senior and friend, comrade Deme Desmond TAMPUORI, as he celebrates his birth anniversary.

DDT as we used to affectionately call him, is the NDC youth organizer for the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa. This happens to be his third term of youth leadership, a justification of his continuous sacrifices and commitment as well as his ingenuity of youth leadership. 

Desmond is widely known across his Constituency as a sociable, affable and lovely personality who has curved a niche for himself in group mobilization.

He knows the in and out of the constituency and has the ability to move swiftly from community to community. His cunning political attitude, his swift movement and his patience make some of us call him the spider of DBI politics. 

His political innovation is enviable. In the Upper West Region, he was the first to form and launch a youth (female) group known as the butterfly ladies which mobilized and campaigned vigorously for the NDC in DBI.

For the above credentials, I am elated to join the numerous comrades across the Upper West Region to celebrate the milestone of comrade DDT. His continuous sacrifice, commitment and passion for the youth need a celebration beyond mere grammatical constructions. For he is such a selfless person, a mere eulogy won't be enough to appreciate him.

 I extend my best wishes and felicitations to the commander of the green army, comrade Desmond Tampuori.

May God Almighty continually broaden your political horizon.
