UPPER WEST MUSICIANS TO CELEBRATE DJ SHARON OF TUMPAANI FM

Some sensational musicians from the Upper West Region are to perform in virtual concert in honour of DJ Sharon, a drive time presenter, DJ and sound technician of the Nadowli based radio station, Tumpaani 88.5mhz. 

DJ Sharon won the best drive time presenter for of the year 2021 in the just ended FOKLEX national awards.

As a DJ who is known for promoting local artists from the Region, the musicians are organizing this concern to congratulate him and as well appreciate his promotional programs. 

Speaking to Skelenzy of Wisdom music who innitiated the concert, he revealed "as a people and industry players, we must learn to honour one another. This is a guy who has been promoting Upper West Music on his program. We need to recognize him by celebrating him especially when his achievement is a great achievement. It is not easy to win an award'.

The concert is slatted on 22nd May, 2021.

Artists billed to perform are; Ryhdimz, Lyrical Queen, Sparta, Obaayaa Wan, Nasty Boy, Super Boy B2 and Skelenzy. 

The concert will be hosted at Tumpaani fm.

ABOUT DJ SHARON

Dj Sharron known in Private life as Aaron Suglo is a rare multi-talented young man from Sombo in the Nadowli/Kaleo District in the upper west region of Ghana.

Also called by his fans as the Mixking because of his unmatched mixing dexterity, DJ Sharron's latent and patent know-how in ICT motivated him to enrol into Issah Youth Leadership Training Institute where even in his first year on campus, he was the mixing master. Subsequently, he got appointed as an ICT teacher. He taught his colleague students how to effectively use IT tools and even how to repair them especially the computer.

As an outstanding student of ICT both at the secondary and Tertiary levels of his education, he became a hot cake as so many media houses in the region sought his staffship. Owing to his love for entertainment, he accepted to do his attachment with Echo Soundz Entertainment, the leading entertainment setup in the region. At Echo Soundz Entertainment, he worked in many portfolios; he worked as an official Dj, Secretary, video editor, sound capture recorder to mention but a few. While at Echo Soundz Entertainment, he enjoyed an appointment with one of the leading radio stations, Wfm 93.5mhz as an assistant Technician. Together with his boss, technical hitches were rectified upon arrival.

After his attachment with Echo Soundz Entertainment, he employed his great IT prowess to establish  Mighty Sounds Entertainment and Mighty Fm (Online Radio) which are still in existence and producing capable DJs, MCs,   Musicians and Computer and Phone Repairers.

He has also been able to establish a home-based internet cafe (Jonafos Technology for typing, printing, results checking etc)

Developing at a faster rate due to his superb IT knowledge, he has made two new additions to his entertainment establishment with A1sounds and A1 online radio.

Since the establishment of Tumpaani 88.5fm in 2017, he has been with the station as an official DJ, Presenter and the lead Technician. He is the regular host of the station's entertainment programmes such as Work and happiness, Time With Djs, Entertainment Talk, Singing and Rapping Competition, Friday Jamz, Saturday Party Mix etc.

With versatility, he also proposed the institution the socio-economic programme "Community Talk". As the official host of the programme, he selected the best guests for various social and economic issues such as Lack of Furniture at the Nadowli District Hospital OPD, Deplorable state of the Takpo/Sankana road and Relocation of the Nadowli Market. All the aforementioned topics discussed on "community talk" which he hosted have yielded positive results.

Dj Sharron bagged  a number of Nominations for awards since his appearance in the entertainment scene. His latest Nominations are from Foklex Media Awards(DriveTime Presenter of the Year).

DJ Sharron is known for his versatility and his audience never cease to enjoy the best of edutainment when he sits behind the console.
